Broken Code was founded in the fall of 2011 by Richard Freimer, Dennis Donoghue, Charlie Friesen, Wesley Gallant, Jake Heinlein, Paul Krusell, Harry Thomas and Conor Walsh.
In 2012, the team was awarded the Finalist Alliance trophy at the Massachusetts FTC State Qualifier in Andover and went on to win another finalist award at Bridgewater State University Qualifier. In following years, the team continued to participate in FTC competitions, but didn't qualify for state events. During the 2020 remote season, the team participated in numerous events, but has not qualified for states since our initial success in our early years.
